Hoya sp. West Borneo ‘Splash’ is a rare, locality-labeled Hoya originating from West Borneo (Kalimantan Barat) and admired for its dramatic silver-splashed foliage. This unidentified species displays large, substantial leaves with deep venation overlaid by bright silver speckles and patches, giving the plant a highly ornamental, high-contrast look.

Leaves are typically thick, leathery, and elongated to broad-oval, developing stronger texture and more pronounced silver patterning as the plant matures. The amount of silver splash varies from leaf to leaf — from light dusting to heavy marbling — making each specimen visually unique and very collectible.

The plant grows climbing to scandent, responding best to vertical support such as poles, trellises, or mounted slabs so the large leaves can display flat and show off their venation and splash pattern.

Why collectors love this plant:

  • Authentic West Borneo locality Hoya
