Common Questions

Q: What is Hoyashouse?

Hoyashouse is the official online store of ARUM Nursery Indonesia, specializing in rare and collectible Hoya species and hybrids. We grow, source, and export healthy living plants to customers and collectors worldwide.

Q: Where are you located?

We are based in Indonesia, home to one of the richest natural habitats for Hoya species. Our nursery operates from Indonesia and we ship internationally to many countries worldwide.

Q: Are you experienced with international plant export?

Yes. We have exported plants to multiple countries and work with:

  • official plant quarantine offices

  • licensed phytosanitary inspectors

  • international couriers

Our team is familiar with export regulations and proper plant handling for long-distance shipping.

Q: Do you have a physical store visitors can come to?

Yes. We operate a real, physical greenhouse facility listed on Google Maps as ARUM Nursery Indonesia. This is where we grow, maintain, and prepare plants for export. For the comfort of our team and to keep plant hygiene and workflow controlled, visits are available by appointment only.

Besides our own nursery, we also collaborate with experienced Hoya farmers, allowing us to offer a consistent supply, rare species, and healthy plants throughout the year.

Q: Are the plants exactly the same as in the photos?

We only use real photos of our plants. However, because plants are living organisms, natural variation in shape, color, and leaf pattern may occur.

Q: Are the plants rooted or cuttings?

Most plants are rooted and established, unless otherwise stated. If an item is unrooted or a fresh cutting, this will be clearly mentioned in the product description.

Q: Can the number of leaves be different from the photos?

Yes, leaf count can change due to growth, pruning, or natural shedding. We prioritize healthy root systems and overall viability rather than exact leaf number.

Q: Can I request updated photos before purchase or shipping?

Yes, for selected plants we can provide recent photos or short videos on request, especially for high-value plants.

Q: How do I place an order?
Q: What currencies do you use?

Simply add items to your cart, proceed to checkout, and complete payment. We will then start export preparation.

All prices are listed in USD. Your bank or payment provider will automatically convert your local currency when you pay.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
Q: Can I reserve plants or make preorder requests?

We currently accept several secure payment methods, including bank transfer, Wise, and Western Union. These options allow customers from many different countries to make international payments easily.

Payments are made in USD, and your bank or payment provider will automatically convert from your local currency if needed. After completing your payment, please send us the transfer receipt so we can verify it and proceed with order processing.

Yes. You can reserve plants, request specific species, or join our waiting list for upcoming stock. If the plant is not currently available, we can check with our greenhouse and partner growers and notify you once it is ready.
